Welders/Fabricators

Lyman-Morse Fabrication is looking for experienced welders and fabricators to start immediately. Minimum of 3 years experience preferred.

 

Quality Systems Manager

Lyman-Morse is looking for a full-time Quality Systems Manager, to start immediately. This person will be responsible for maintaining Lyman-Morse’s ISO9001 quality management system across multiple divisions. They will share responsibility, on an as-needed basis, in examining incoming materials; performing production hold-point inspections; final inspections on finished parts; and record-keeping. Excellent communication skills are a must as well as a keen attention to detail.

Requirements include: a minimum of five years in a QA/QC field, ideally in a management position; experience with ISO9001 or other quality management system; ability to self-manage; capability of reading and interpreting specifications and drawings; ability to apply math skills to perform daily tasks; ability to use and interpret basic workshop/machine shop metrology such as calipers and micrometers; proficiency in MS Excel; ability to work in hot/cold environments with appropriate PPE and in and around machinery safely.

Desired skills and experience: Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree, knowledge of AWS structural welding codes, and basic understanding of welding symbols. Experience with composites a plus. Knowledge of SolidWorks, Rhino, and AutoCAD desired as well as experience with NDT (MT, UT, VT, PT).
